Based in London, Andrew West makes watch winders for people that appreciate ‘beautiful things’ with a customer base spanning across the world. Contained in exquisitely hand-crafted, individually-designed boxes and cabinets, the winders keep automatic watches, not being worn, from stopping by regularly rotating them using intricate electronics contained in each box.
Andrew, a trained cabinet maker, diversified into the field of watch winders after he was commissioned by a Saudi Arabian prince to make a cabinet to house his collection of 25 luxury watches.
My customers are not just looking for a watch winder but a beautiful piece of furniture, something that will grace their home and will comprise unsurpassed quality.
Andrew has loved working with his hands since he was a child. The son of Jamaican parents who came to Britain in the 1950s, Andrew went on to launch Andrew West Interiors, based in a 3000 sq ft workshop at the Hanama Complex, London.
Andrew nurtures a dream to one day return to the sunny beaches of the Caribbean where he’ll continue to make beautiful objects, whilst enjoying golden rays.
